I am an IT Professional based in the High Peak, UK who has worked in the IT industry in various roles since 1993. I have a background in Software Development (specifically database application development), IT Systems Management and IT Support.
My current role is as an IT Technician working for the NHS. I am also involved in the provision of self-employed software development services to deliver industry specific, database driven web applications targeted towards the UK wholesale and manufacturing industry sectors.

IT Support / Systems Management
I have extensive IT support experience of both hardware and software. I have a logical and pragmatic approach to problem solving, a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and a drive to get the job done.
Throughout my career I have worked with companies from many differing industries ranging from large multi-national industrial services companies to smaller manufacturing and wholesale businesses; I believe that this diversity gives me a valuable insight into the ways in which computer hardware, software, systems, and technology can be used and implemented to improve performance across different industries and market sectors.
Software Development
I am currently Lead Developer of Upsilon-ERP which is a cloud-based ERP system targeted specifically towards the UK wholesale and manufacturing industry sectors.
Some of my more recent achievements have involved the design and construction of bespoke web applications using tools such as PHP and MariaDB. These applications have been for diverse industries such as electric motor supply and repair, flexible hose manufacture and industrial belt drive supply.
